What do I wear for a night out? Feeling old :(

I've just started a PCGE uni course at the grand age of 41 with 3 children. Most people on the course are aged between 20 - 25. Next Friday we're going on a night out which I'm more than up for but just do not know what to wear am I'm just so out of touch with it all & not been out in the evening for god knows how long.
Ideas please so I don't look a complete out of touch mother

I like the blouse but what a pity that Warehouse is all polyester nowadays.

What are you doing? Last time I went out (drinks and then dancing) I wore black opaques, black mini, silk blouse and biker jacket with heels. Usually I'd go for skinnies, heels and a silk top.

Dress wouldn't be so good for big boobs. I'm no Chesty Morgan though!

Agree the dress wouldn't work with big boobs. I', 5' 9" too and most of the dresses in New Look are really short on me.
