Tights that are patterned all the way up (for a child)

Not exactly style and beauty but this is the place to ask people who Shop! My 9-year-old wears shorts with tights but her tights do that irritating thing of stopping the pattern halfway up her thighs (which is probably where they think a skirt would come to - and they would be right). Which leaves her with a ridiculous black bit before the shorts kick in. Not that she cares, but i don't like it. Has anybody come across tights that don't do that?

I know what you mean.

What about plain tights in bright colours? You wouldn't have the problem then.

Great but they are a bit like hens' teeth! Kids' tights seem to be stripy or that nasty thick translucent nylon like my mum might wear. Or do you know better?

H&m do great tights in plain colours and the patterned ones I've had are all the way up. Hate those nylon ones.
