First 2 look similar -- I know they are different lengths but bit boring to have both.

With regards to third it depends on how camel looks on you.

MissDD1971 · 04/10/2013 18:15

yeah that's true camel did look nice on me.

longer one would look nice, so would shorter one.... decisions...

That camel one is a really lovely colour - looks like toffee! The neck on the Milly jumper is a nice feature - bit of a change from a Peter Pan collar too. The only one I'm not too sure on is the long black one but that could be down to the way it has been photographed - it just looks a bit odd on the model, but looks good in the photo of it on its own.

ooh dexter thank you!!! Smile

I think I will have to crawl up to village at lunch and try the longer Hobbs one on.

Bloody hobbs/whistles why can't they stock them in the department store opposite my office?!

That is why I love John Lewis click & collect - order it then pick it up the next day without having the bother of driving to he nearest shop!

MissDD1971 · 04/10/2013 22:56

dexter - nearest Johnny Lou Lou (John Lewis, ahem...!) is in Kingston which is a bus or train ride away - only 20-30 mins by bus and less by train by still a little trek. and about 2 or 3 zones out of travel card!

if I go to Westfield Stratford I can use travel card and sort of be nearer...

when Croydon finally gets a Westfield next year I think it'll have John Lewis - at long ruddy last!

Didn't know they were making another Westfield. We often co to the Shepherds Bush one as we get the train into Paddington. I have been to the Stratford one once but it is a bit of a trek!

MissDD1971 · 05/10/2013 11:32

Yeah they are! Croydon's a bomb site TBH and has Centrale. Riots helped re regeneration though! Grin

Gosh I used to work near Shepherds Bush many moons ago (before Westfield) - that place was bleak. Yeah Stratford is a trek depending where you are for me it's ok since East London Line opened up. I used to meet friend there too but we fell out in April so won't be doing that too much LOL.

No idea what shape you are? Can't see the whistles sweater. First long Hobbs would hit me at my widest point - I'm an hourglass, I expect it would suit an apple. The Hobbs milly has a lovely detail around the neck and a good length for tube skirt but only has 10% wool.

MissDD1971 · 05/10/2013 18:06

Thanks snowlie.

I think I am more of an hourglass well am curvy anyway. think will try to try it on the long Hobbs one.

yes, the Millie one has 10% angora and 5% cashmere.

The Whistles one has 11% wool and 5% silk.

why can't they make sweaters with more wool content in them?!
