Can anyone help me find a very normal navy blue coat for the winter?

It doesn't have to be navy blue but I don't want a black or grey coat.

I'm looking for a fairly plain coat. No big collars or funnel neck. Nothing on the shoulders. No puffy sleeves. Not double breasted. No belt. Simple pockets.

I'm a pear shape so would like it to be shapely when it is done up.

Does such a coat exist? I would like it to be warm enough and smart enough to wear over work clothes on the odd days I travel by train, but mostly it will be worn out of work, with jeans, skirts, boots etc...

Please help :-D

Have you had a look at Boden- there are a couple that might fit the bill.

Thank you for your suggestions. I'd prefer to spend less than £150. I actually like the Boden Military Moleskin coat that I had not seen before. (I could live with the Epaulettes) but it is double-breasted.

I'm not a big fan of wearing coats so tend not to button them up unless it is really cold. I don't like the way double breasted looks not done up, and I don't seem to suit them when they are buttoned up.

I have a shorter grey wool coat I can wear if i need to be smart and a smart black mac, so I need a coat that errs more on the side of 'looks good with jeans'.

The Superdry is the best then but it is £££.

I'd spend that on a coat and have done because you can expect to get 2-3 seasons at least out of it.

Have you looked at M&S, Wallis maybe, ASOS, etc etc?

Double breasted but lovely (I don't like DB either but really like this)
