I decided to jack my job in and have been successful in finding a new one and start my new job in approximately two weeks time.

I have to wear Crew type shoes! A google search has revealed some hideous foot?ear which may be comfy and stop me from going arse over tit, but I would like something that is a bit more stylish!

I don't like pumps/ballet style or Mary Janes.

Does anyone work in a catering environment or have to wear non slip shoes because of tiled or slippery floor?

Thanks if anyone can help.

As much as I detest crocs with a passion I would wear these

www.crocs.co.uk/crocs-mens-hover-work/12118,en_GB,sp.html

But they start at a size 6 and would be too big as I am a size 5 :(

Crocs are often quite short/ small. I bought a boys hover in a size 5 for my son but they fit my size 4 feet and were a bit small for him. It might be worth trying the 6 if you can get to a shop. Sending stuff back to Crocs is expensive. My advice would be to go to a good shoe shop and ask what occupational/ nurses shoes they have available.

Thank you belts and braces. Those ones are no good as they have to ve black. I dont like pumps or loafers either.
