This jumpsuit- yay or nay?

I am 32, fairly petite- 5'2, and a size 12.
Pretty pear shaped, flat chested, but more chunky hips and thighs.

I have a couple of events over the winter months to attend, really on the arm of my husband, and am fed up of the LBD. They are kind of 'black-tie-lite'!

I have a white tuxedo jacket I could roll out with it.

Would this work? Or will I look ridiculous?! Should jumpsuits have gone out with Abba?

I think you would need to try it on, but it may not be the most flattering on - I imagine that model is a size 8 and at least 5'8"!

I would go with a dress. It doesn't have to be a boring LBD.

I quite like it but it will be a PITA when you need a wee especially if you get a bit pissed!

It looks very classy and not at all Abba! I am sure the petite length would work well, but would suggest you try a few different sizes. Don't be offended if the larger size drapes better - it is better to have more fabric than risk a camel toe!

Why not just get a pair of smart black trousers and a couple of sparkly tops? MUCH more versatile and practical...

I'm not exactly a style icon, so don't take too much notice of me, but my first instinct is NO!
