Apparently if they have an ankle or foot strap, they will be fine... Please could you help me to find a nice pair (not too high) so that I can look tall and beautiful rather than an awkward teenager this winter? Thanks

These?

Or these?

Are these two high?

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 03/10/2013 20:15

Trying to avoid a wedge and stay under £50... I quite like the first ones thanks, but was looking for just a slim ankle strap so that I can pretend that they look like proper stilettos!

Adore the second pair. Adore. No size 41 in stock though otherwise I would be so tempted

Somethingyesterday · 03/10/2013 20:42

Ah TwoBits it's worth experimenting with the sizing. I'm also roughly a 41 but an Italian 40 and a half fitted over the summer and an English pair of wellies in 41 are huge. You might be lucky and find & Other Stories sizing is helpful....

Annoyingly I know exactly the sort of shoes you mean OP but can't think where to find them. Zara might have something but their website is running too slowly on my phone.

New look have tonnes of stilettos with ankle straps, primary have some too.

AndTwoBits · 03/10/2013 20:46

True somethingyesterday my brogue boots are actually a 40 but to get those shoes shipped over to Ireland and then to have to perhaps return them might just work out too expensive. But I really love them! Wish we had a shop n Dublin, I am loving their website, since you suggested pieces from there earlier on.

Somethingyesterday · 03/10/2013 20:53

Oh Dublin has its own attractions. (The road to Cork being one of them.Grin)

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 03/10/2013 21:57

Thank you. There are some nice ones on the Next website too... I will have a squizz at the New Look and Zara websites
