Whistles knit yes or no?

got this the other day but unsure as to whether or not it's too casual. it's edgy and there's a red speckled/textured one on whistles website (can't seem to do multiple links...)

I think it's casual but not sure it is edgy. Love that they won't tell you what it is made of! (Polyester I imagine)
