I have been ill, off to USA in 3 weeks, help!!

I have some mystery exhaustion thing going on. GP has referred my to specialist for psoriatic arthritis

Sorry, I have been referred for PA and to physiotherapy.
Also to see ENT again re chronic sinusitis.

If this doesn't produce results I am to see consultant who deals with TATT, Tired All The Time.

The thing is I look dreadful, drawn, huge shadows under my eyes as I don't sleep well, the exhaustion is just showing on my face.

I am going on my trip of a lifetime, to San Francisco in 3 weeks.

Any tips to make me look a little more alive?

I am open to suggestions re potions and lotions, supplements etc etc.

I suppose if all fails I will look at home in the Castro on Halloween!!

I was in SF last week and it was fabulous! (And that was just a short work trip!) You will have a fantastic time! No useful advice on looking any less awful though, sorry. Crossing the Atlantic always ages me by 10 years. Sadly coming back again doesn't always quite reverse the effect!

Fake tan, or one of those gradual tanners?

A new shorter hair cut? That always makes me look more alive. OR eyebrow shape and eyelash curl/dye - ditto

I will be embalmed if I look 10 years older!

I need a rest before I go but have no time to rest. I think I might try to get a half day from work to get some things done. I want to catch up with the family, sort out the allotment and garden, catch up on some groups I am part of, decide what i am packing, get my hair cut, clean the house.

Half a day enough do you think?

Snowgal, I plan to have my hair cut, I have a tan from being in the garden over the summer.
