Serum recommendations for dry skin?

Can anyone recommend a good daytime serum for dry/mature skin? I'm tempted by the Clarins double serum, but have read old threads about it on here and am not sure.

Does anyone have a favourite?

TIA

Are you definitely dry rather than dehydrated? This will help you work it out: www.carolinehirons.com/2011/11/dry-or-dehydrated-cheat-sheet.html

The reason I ask is because if you are actually dehydrated then Hydraluron might be worth a try. It has been brilliant for me - I thought I was dry but was actually dehydrated and my skin looks much better now after using this.

Now I've read through that thoroughly it does seem to point to dehydrated. Previous discussions about the Clarins talk about the mineral oil in it, which she says to avoid, so I think I might have a look for the Hydraluron.

You can get it in Boots. It has worked for me, and Caroline Hirons loves it. There's a similar product by Eucerin called hyaluron concentrate. The Hydraquench range by Clarins is worth looking at too - not sure if they have a serum but the mask and moisturisers are lovely. Clarins blue orchid oil is also great for dehydrated skin.

I use hydraluron, blue orchid oil and then body shop vitamin e night cream at night and the combo seems to have made a big difference to both dehydration and dryness. I sometimes skip the oil step now the dehydration is better.
