anyone got any recommendations? I'd like to avoid m&s (for obvious reasons) and romford debenhams (for the same as m&s). I can't really get into London's to get to a bravissimo which I would love to do. I may be able to make it as far as Westfield stratford though. any tips on where u can get a decent fitting will be great fully received. Biscuit Wine and Thanks in advance.

Think there may be a Rigby & Pillar at Westfield, could be wrong though. Otherwise I have had people swear by John Lewis. You could always try the self-measuring method as featured in the blog on here and order some online.

There used to be a lingerie / bra shop in the road virtually opposite romford station...FAB!! was measured and fitted there all the time before i moved away...going to find link for you...

thank you both.

unfortunately r&p is at the proper westfield, so can't get there Sad . I have been using the self measure but I need a bit if expert advice on bras in general (shape etc) so want to go somewhere I know will measure me right in the first place.

I know where Gloria's is, had forgotten about its existence. I may pop down later if I get the chance.

Can't you get up to London for Bravissimo?

bit of a shocker if Westfield don't have decent bra shops - don't try Beaux Avenue or whatever it is that's in Stratford one, bad reviews. John Lewis who should be good are useless too.

here's a link for some bra places in Chelmsford area:-

Sadly my DS will not tolerate being in his buggy and not moving for the length of time it would take to get into central London. Luckily my wonderful MIL took pity on my plight, and took him for the afternoon so I managed to get up to Bravissimo. So glad I did. Though I will definitely try out Gloria's at some point when I need another bra. Especially as I now have a rough idea what I am looking for.

YAY - props to MIL. Just saying that if you're large of nork you can't beat (though not ALL the fitters there are great) Bravissimo.
