Comfortable bra for elderly lady with osteoporosis?

MrsMcGregor · 02/10/2013 21:48

DM's back is very misshapen due to spinal collapse caused by Osteoporosis. Have just discovered that she is unable to wear her bra properly due to her bone structure. It does fasten around her back and she can wear the shoulder straps - problem appears to be around the cup area.

Any suggestions for an alternative fitting bra please which would be more comfortable. The only thing I can think of is a vest with some sort of bust support but I'm not sure she'd be happy with that. Am going to have a look at J Lewis website but thought someone knowledgable here might have some suggestions.

Thanks.

Would something like this work? Or this

Those look like potentials CMOT - shall show them to DM and see what she thinks - thanks!

Hope she likes them, and I needed to find new bras for my mum anyway, so it spurred me on!

It took another thread about clothes for someone else's DM with OP to spur me on .... I ordered a stack of skirts and she's keeping three - result! Underwear next!

Hope you get your Mum sorted.
