What should I buy at the airport?

I'm flying out of Heathrow next week and I'm wondering what buys are good value at duty free? Is make up worth it? Or perfumes? (I haven't flown for years so I'm not actually sure what they sell, )

If you were going away what would you buy (if anything) at duty free?

(Also, I'm off to Rome and wondering if there is anything I should look out for specifically whilst I'm there?)

I bought clinique skin care and make up, saved about £4 - 5 on each item compared to Boots. Think about what you want, check retail prices online and make a list then you can compare at the airport to see if the savings are worth it. have a good trip.
