What to brightening dark grey jumper up with?

Just bought a dark grey cable knit jumper which is really comfortable. It was the only colour they had which didn't wash me out, but I think it needs brightening up. Had a quick look around town without success. I was looking along the lines of a scarf or fashion necklace. Can anyone suggest anything please.

Fuschia feather boa

Mustard yellow or yellow ochre is good with dark grey. I'd be looking for a scarf in that sort of colour, if it was me. Or teal, or deep pink.

Depending on the neckline you could wear a thin polo neck underneath, in a different colour.

Or go with Edie's feather boa suggestion.

Maybe wear a brightly coloured long sleeve top underneath and push the sleeves of the jumper up so you can see the sleeves of the top.

Pink with grey looks great. So id go pink shirt scarf or chunky necklace

Thanks ladies. Never thought about a polo neck to put underneath and an extra layer would be good when it's cold. Will see if I can get one in the colours suggested and see what it looks like.

MrsSJG, I had it from Gap. It wasn't cheap at £34.95, but know I'll wear it. From memory, it came in cream, light blue and dark grey.

I would wear a coral pashmina with it, or turquoise would also look good. Fab colour combinations with grey.

I wear a cobalt scarf with dark grey tops. Alternatively layer teal/magenta/cobalt long line long sleeve tees under so that you can see a splash of colour at the hip and the cuffs. Dark grey is my absolute favourite neutral.
