Today in Sainsburys I saw....a cord skirt

Buttoned right down the front (though I didn't check if they were real or decorative)
Just above knee length and fitted to the knee
Colour of a red Fruit Pastille
Fine needlecord, brassy buttons

Should I?
What would I wear it with?
I'm 5'5"

Size 12 rump but a bit of an apple, so I wouldn't tuck anything in.
Would it look frumpy with black tights and boots and a long black cardigan over a black crew neck jumper?

(I didn't buy it. It didn't scream I love you at me. But I'll reconsider....)

Ooh I saw that skirt too and had similar thoughts. I will wait for someone more stylish to comment .

I would wear it. with a plan dark v neck top and long cardi plus opaques and boots. I am not stylish at all though

I've actually tried that on and although I'm taller and a bit wider I found the buttons down the front a bad idea. I think when you sit down they will pull and the skirt will go out of shape.
