Overlooked or little known designer/quality labels

I'm always on the look out for new labels etc that are less known so that I'm not wearing the same as everyone else.

Does anyone have any tips for good labels/designers that are good quality, classic styling but not as well known. Recently came across Maje for example but I think this is quite known, just not by me

I am a huge fan of Miss Captain and Lady Captain from Captain Tortue. Sold via home based agents only. Check the web for local ones. Lovely French styling and excellent quality.

I really like Claudie Pierlot - same stable as Maje/Sandro, but a little more fun.

Anthropologie website has a selection of good quality lesser known designers. Hit & miss in that some of the styles are for me but have found some great things on there

Maje isn't a designer label - it is French premium high street, and, as others have said, is part of a trio with Sandro and Claudie Pierlot.

I prefer BA&SH for French premium high street.

Thanks everyone, really great selection. I also love some of the Danish/Scandinavian labels. Does anyone know any good options in that range?

I ordered a lovely Leon & Harper jumper but had to return as it was terrible quality.

The clothes don't look much on the hanger IYSWIM. I've had some of mine donkeys years. They never really date because the're not 'in faahion'.
