Heros and Villians fancy dress ideas??

Please can anyone help, need ideas for a hero and fancy dress costume, I refuse to wear anything frumpy so might need to handmake my own if cant find a decent fitting on in shops!

Can only find the usual batwomen, she-ra, wonder women etc but there must be more that that!

White queen from Narnia - long fitted dress, hair up with a bit of silver spray, lots of dramatic white makeup.

Did that myself once - turned an old black ballgown silver with spray paint - was fabulous.

Bellatrix lestrange. I'd do it myself for trick & treating with the DC only I lack the courage.
