"Going out" dress for this winter, for a size 18 apple with ample bosom

Been looking round the shops for a party dress for this winter as I've got a few piss-ups functions to attend, but to no avail!

I'm a size 18, about 5' 5, and tend to carry weight on my belly. I have slim legs, not very ample bottom, but big knockers. Any recommendations?

I am a similar shape and find Monsoon is brilliant for my shape. Hope you find something. Smile

Thanks nombre, that first dress does look like a consideration!

takeit, I'm a Monsoon patron as well. My wardrobe has several jersey, floral numbers that really are the most flattering on me. But wondering whether to go for something a bit different.

Hi BumgrapesofWrath, I am more of an hourglass shape, and slightly taller, but do also have boobs. I bought this dress recently and I love it. So comfy and yet so cute and I think it is stylish too?

They have some other occasion styles too, and have a look in the sale, great value there.

bumgrapes You cant beat Monsoon can you. I had a classic little black dress from there in 2007 and it has seen me through lots of events. Just had a browse and there are quite a few party dresses on the website. If only I wasnt saving. Sad

I love the black dress with the bands of coloured bands at the bottom put on by another poster. Thats really nice.

Hope you find something.
