I'm feeling a bit uninspired this season. Has anyone bought anything fabulous?

I have been looking around for a few things this Autumn but can't seem to find much that I like at all. I am after a dress, a pretty blouse, a warm jumper and a classic pair of good quality black boots.

Has anyone made any great purchases that they can inspire me with?

I usually love buying this season but the high street is awash with some fairly terrible stuff.

I bought a dress from fat face which is lovely and I wouldn't usually buy from there.
And kurt geiger have some excellent boots which are on my list.

I have found a decent jumper yet, but did see a few in French connection recently which were nice

V happy with National Sugar boots from Clarks - but in brown so not too helpful. Also I wore the Clerkenwell dress from Boden to a christening yesterday and really like that.

Plum/auberge new chinos from M&S are my new best friend.... I bought 2pairs!

Like that racingheart . What's the sizing like, is it a loose fit at the bustline or tight? True to size?

Maybe slightly generous sizing? It hangs so beautifully that I think there's a lot of flexibility in the sizing. It comes in really gorgeous colours too.

Thank you. Sounds like I can go for the smaller size (I'm petite frame but a bit busty, so sometimes have to size up to accommodate the norks ). Like the pearl and the prune colours, will prob go for prune because I've been looking for something in that colour.
(God, I've spent so much bloody money since discovering this board - always finding something that I 'need'!)
