Where to buy black trousers

I'm looking for some black work trousers

I already own a pair of cigarette pants, which I adore but would also like some other styles. I need to wear them with flats as I work in a school. Thinking about the winter, would need to also wear them with boots.

Any suggestions?

Have you looked in your largest local M&S. Lots of different styles, materials and prices options.

I've looked in M&S, wasn't quite sure if they were a bit too mummy

Mint Velvet? There is a 15% off code knocking around.

I just got some really nice ones from M&S, they are wool with cashmere, part lined and are good quality, look like they were much more expensive than the £40 or so they cost.
I also like Banana Republic which have a good range of styles

I work in a school too, my most stylish and practical black trousers come from...Asda. Before buying them I'd never bought clothes from there, but the material is such good quality. I don't think they're the typical ones that are made all year round, but they are the ones with the small zips that are there now.

Next have some stylish ones in at the moment but I find that they tend to shrink upwards after a few washes.

ceeveebee I bought those trousers too, they do not look like M&S. I got them in BW M&S, they are not available in my local branch.
