Earrings with very short hair

I've always had long hair and mostly didn't bother with earrings as they were always lost in the hair.

I now have a very short crop which I love, but without make-up it can be a bit hard. I thought earrings would soften it, but my sparkly studs seem to emphasise it.

What kinds of earrings would you wear with short hair?

I've had long hair, short hair and now a collar length bob.

With short hair I liked hoops - not the Tina-out-of-Corrie type but a gold hoop creole style about the size of a wedding ring.

Or thin wire hoops that I thread tiny beads onto.

(It's why I grew my hair though. Without make-up I looked a bit 'blokey' )

I have a very short crop and don't wear earrings at all anymore - I think they look a bit odd on me and feel like I'm trying to reassert my femininity (which I don't think needs to happen as I think my crop is quite girly). A friend with a similar haircut wears slender drop earrings - either thin wire ones with beads on the end or metal teardrop type shapes and looks stunning though - but she dresses in quite a bohemian way so it works.

I have a crop and I wear hoops. Massive jessie j style ones and weirdly my hair is cut the same way as hers is ATM (when she was on the Alan Carr show )

I have a very short crop, I wear either my default ring sized hoops, or I often wear one long earing and a pretty stud, am a bit of a wafty hippy type though

I have a pixie cut and tend to wear small pearl studs.
