Really desperate to try but don't want to look orange. Taken with the fact it doesn't go patchy.

This was in Saturday's Times Fake Bake but it is not quite the same thing.

Ledodgyherring · 26/06/2006 22:44

I don't know about the mousse but the lotion is fab. I put it on the other day and people asked me if i'd been away or been on a sunbed. It doesn't look orange at all but does look like your natural tan. I've raved about fake bake on here before and only have great things to say about it.

Blossomhill · 26/06/2006 22:46

ledogy - does it streak at all?

St Tropez all the way

Blossomhill · 26/06/2006 22:48

do you apply it yourself piffle or have a treatment done?

do it myself, it can be a great faff but set aside the time and its great!
I also recommend clarins gel for a really light golden look, esp good for legs. no streaks, the smell is ok. I always moisturise first and have a good stock of fake tan removal wipes, but St T does not streak if you follow the instructions

Ledodgyherring · 26/06/2006 23:01

No it doesnt streak if you do it properly it's coloured so you can see how youve applied as you put it on iyswim. it will look streaky at first but once you've showered you're left with a fab tan.

Fake Bake gets rave reviews on makeupalley.com

hullabaloo · 26/06/2006 23:53

I've got the Fake Bake lotion and it's really good, very natural. I tend to be quite
peely-wally so some fake tans can look pretty orange on me but this one doesn't. it looks natural and goes on evenly. I like it because you can see where you're putting it. Be brave have a go but take your time!

Blossomhill · 27/06/2006 17:12

Thanks everyone. Going to give it a go as it is half price in Superdrug this week (£10) so will do it at weekend.
