Best A/W Reasonable Priced Dress for a downsized life.

I am having an identity crisis.

I have given up work to concentrate on being a mum.

I have hit 40.

I have moved to really the middle of nowhere.

My suburban working mum and office wardrobe seems just wrong since my life downsize.

I love to wear dresses and although my legs are my redeeming feature think they should sit just above the knee .

I'd really like a smart casual dress that would do Sundays, preferably with some kind of pattern, as all my work dresses tended to be a block colour. I like the idea of a shirt dress but looking on the internet I have become more And more confused. I keep putting things in shopping bags then not doing anything.

I'm 5ft 8ins size 12 with mediocre boobs and ok legs. I din't really want to spend more than £100, the less the better really since I am now sponging of DH no longer earning.

I've just ordered this. Can't tell you what it is like yet as it hasn't arrived!

Yes it is quite a bargain. I think I will probably wear it with a belt round the waist rather than the tie.
