hair broken dry and crap - vitamins?

( am not a vitamin believer really)
Crap hair cut a year ago has left ONE side of my hair thin and pointy. I do straighten it but not the right as much as tbh I get bored. Its all kind of wooly up to the roots and looks dire. I fear i need to chop the lot off but am resisting to the bitter end.

Do vitamins help hair? Do i need a general vitamin or a hairy one?
any other hair help ( am using argan oil etc)

Don't chop it off! I use jojoba oil in unwashed hair overnight & rinse with loreal elvive (pink range) & then do the conditioning pack EVERY TIME my hair needs a wash (it used to be super dry too & I straighten it). I have used all the expensive brands - kerastase is the best in my opinion but dear. Again the pink range - chroma reflect) but the loreal stuff seems to work just as well & was recommended to me by my friend who bleachs her hair. Really recommend. Try & avoid straightening & sit in front of a mirror & work out a few ways to style your hair that you like without the need for straightening. If you do straighten use heat protector. Also argan (Moroccan) oil is fab. Hope this helps x

Sea kelp can be good

I have crappy hair, but it is getting better....

I would also recommend nioxion hair system for chemically treTed and thinning hair. I used that, druy upside down, then finish with a ceramic barrel brush and spray a bit of dry shampoo the thickening one through the mID LENGTHS ans ENDS to give it some body.

My hair is getting thicker. Also I ditched the straightening irons unless it was for a very special occasion!

Thanks everyone. I'll take a look at all these.
