I need cheap wide black shoes for work. I like a wee bit of a heel. I did have nice ones from Marks and Sparks but they're done.

You could get a couple of plaice from the fishmonger and cover them in boot polish!!! You could also get some soles (geddit?!!) Grin

I tried to work it out and I had to click to find out!Grin

I would try TK Maxx and outlet places.

SavoyCabbage · 28/09/2013 10:02

Cheap shoes are a false economy I think so its best to search for better quality bargains.

Whatdoido5 · 28/09/2013 10:02

Grin very funny velvet.

I wonder if I should start a new shoe brand called chew pish flatfish Grin

Flatfish :) :)

Hahaha!

Anyway.... try yours, Evans, pavers, shoe tailor (their eee fitting is like a standard e fitting in my experience), Clarks wide fit, equity (very grannyish but may be something smart ish).

WillThatComeOffEasily · 28/09/2013 10:05

Primark £4 wide fit.

Whatdoido5 · 28/09/2013 10:05

I will be wearing a suit every day. Suits are mostly black or dark grey so I thought black would work best, dug out the shoes and they won't cut it so I need new ones

Clarks have quite a few wide fit. They have a few outlets as well if there is one you can get to, found they have really good prices.

poachedeggs · 28/09/2013 10:08

Someone on another thread suggested Treds website. I've had a look this morning and been really impressed.

poachedeggs · 28/09/2013 10:09

Also, Skechers tend to be very wide fitting if you can find a smart style.

duckyfuzz · 28/09/2013 10:12

I have v wide feet and find that blowfish (which I'm sure are a bit like flatfish!) are a good fit, next wider fittings, fly are good too but not really chew pish...

LaFataTurchina · 28/09/2013 10:13

rocket dogs are quite wide too. There's always a few in my local tk maxx.

ZacharyQuack · 28/09/2013 10:15

I thinking you might be floundering to find cheap shoes with decent soles.

Whatdoido5 · 28/09/2013 10:15

Tkmaxx and Clark's outlet tomorrow then.

Should I ask for chew pish flatfish shoes just to see their faces ?Grin
