Babyliss big hair - recommend?

Hi, would really appreciate views on whether these are worth it.

Is it something you only use once or twice or has it replaced your hair dryer? Do you use it on dry hair to freshen it up? If you like yours, what is your hair like?

There seem to be a few sizes. Not sure if the smaller one is for shorter hair...

Love mine and am on my third in about 3 years. Use it every day and love the results but apparently they are not meant to be used daily which is why mine have burnt out! I have very thick hair cut in a shortish layered bob and it is an easy way to achieve a proper blow dried look. Very easy to use and great for a perk up if I am going out. I don't know about different sizes and I use my hair drier first until my hair is almost dry, add some serum and finish with the Big Hair.

Where do you buy yours and roughly how much, if you don't mind my asking?

I got mine off Amazon and then bought one for my mum. Wouldn't be without it now.

I have just past collar bone length hair, I do like it but have to dry my hair with a hair dryer first. I find it tidies it up and makes it "swishy". My hair is very fine so it doesn't give amazing volume but definitely makes it look more styled.

I go through phases of using it all the time and then forget about it a bit and then start using it again and decided I love it again! Got mine off ebay as new in box for about £30 I think.

I bought one 3 years ago. It burnt out 2 years later but I replaced it the same day, because I couldn't be without it. My hair is very thick and wavy and is a massive pain to straighten. I find blow drying with a brush and hairdryer a massive pain. With this I have in about 10 minutes relatively smooth, swishy hair, that is not dead flat but has a natural wave. I either let my hair dry naturally or use my hairdryer till it's nearly dry and then use the BBH.

I love my BBH and I love my hair now.

I also thought I'd use it for a month then file away in dusty cupboard....(breville sandwich toaster stylie)....however use it all the time for someone who hates blow drying hair....(particularly the rear tresses) makes it a doddle .... my friend has recently purchased one from Argos a fiver off! Go for it!

I think it's great, I have the large barrel version and would probably get the smaller one when mine gives up the ghost as my hair isn't very long.

Then again I'm not sure if the results would be all that different?

I've got long layered hair that is prone to be a bit flat and fly away. I love mine and use it every time I dry my hair. I dry my fringe with a normal hairdryer, then put in mousse or spray and blast my hair upside down until its about 90% dry. I only use the B B H at the end and it gives great volume and lovely swishiness, :)

Itwill, what spray do you find works best?

Love mine, I too use it most days. I finally have a fairly decent hair do'!

Lazysuzanne- I am not an expert on spray, I just use whatever takes my fancy at the time. I do like a good dollop of mousse, bit 80's I know but it gives my hair some umph :).

Well, I used mine for the first time today (as just bought it) and DH noticed a difference. DH never notices anything - so in conclusion - this makes more difference that wearing nice makeup, lovely clothes or even losing 2 stone (none of which my DH has noticed in the past). So it really does work and i would highly recommend.

For those of you have worn out your BBH, check your guarantees. I think they have a 2 year guarantee, so it's worth checking.

Yes the 2 year thing is great, I have only paid for the one.
