Help me find a dress to wear to a christening - I'm godparent and also 14w pg!

Title says it all really, I am godparent in 2 weeks when I will be 14w pg. Although I'm not exactly showing yet, I have put on weight in that area and still getting quite bloated as the day wears on!

The only dresses I have are too dressy/christmassy, or too casual, or too clingy!

I guess I need something with a high waist/empire line, but isn't that just going to draw attention to my expanding belly?

thanks fauxfox - strangely I wasn't really thinking of a maternity dress as I haven't got any sort of bump to speak of yet (just thicker waist) so not sure if a mat dress will look odd without a bump to fill it?! Surely it would hang too low at the front without the bump to lift it?

Was thinking of a regular dress that's loose enough around middle for me to get away with it - even if I have to up-size
