Do they hurt your head?

I need the low down!

I bought them and couldnt sleep in them. I can sleep if i leave a few in at the top but not all over. Although a few girls in work dont think theyre as uncomfortable as me so you might be ok. I still use them straight after drying. Then give my hair a good blast with dryer with them in and a very light spray of hairspray. Gives plenty of body

I found them very uncomfortable.

bigTillyMint · 27/09/2013 14:01

Are you living in the 1950's?Grin

Uncomfortable!

BaconAndAvocado · 27/09/2013 17:36

No big the 80s!

My mum used heated Carmen rollers back then every day and, as I've been told does happen to us all, I am turning into my mother!

I love the curly look and as my hair seems to be losing volume all the time it would be great to have the look WITHOUT the hassle!

Not too many votes then Sad

Are you meaning those sponge type ones that have a plastic holder? I thought you meant these sleep rollers they seem to be popular

BaconAndAvocado · 27/09/2013 20:22

Yes ruby thems the ones!

Similar to the Carmen rollers of the 80s only because they're rollers!

I also use a BBH which is great but the volume doesn't last and isn't curly.

I have pink sleep rollers - not bad to sleep in .... just don't roll about too much!

ceeveebee · 27/09/2013 20:31

What were those pink foam/wire stick things that we had in the 80s/90s that you wound hair up in and left in overnight?? Did a great spiral curl!

BaconAndAvocado · 27/09/2013 21:12

cee they were called Schumi's.
