Help please, cardigan/coverup for winter holiday?

Just that really, warm days but cooler evenings so need something versatile to go over dresses. Do I want one of these or something like www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_054010113143_-1 or none of the above? Any suggestions welcome.

Those are quite horrid sorry - 1st one looks like a dishrag, 2nd is a very odd shape and would make anyone look preggers.

Hmm on 2nd look they are not nice. I did see the River Island one you linked to but it's out of stock in my size. Thanks for replying.
