What to wear with this dress

I have bought this to wear to my DS's christening.

It's really flattering and I love it, but am struggling to know what to wear on my feet. I don't reeeeally want to buy new shoes or boots, so my options are...

Patent black wedges
Cream wedges
Tan knee high boots
Brown suede mid calf boots

Do any of these sound ok? Or do I need to go shoe shopping? What about tights?

The dress is quite short, so if I go for heels and nude tights I will feel like I have quite a lot of leg on display...

I liked the look of that dress too. I'm really sorry I can't offer any advice re footwear because that is where I struggle too. I like clothing websites that show people wearing the clothes and the accessories to match. It helps a lot.

I wouldn't wear boots with it for a christening, for a normal day to dress it down yes but not for a christening.

If you are worried about wearing nude tights I think you'd probably get away with black opaques and the black wedges?
