Coat dilemma - Aigle Cuckmere or something entirely less practical

Bit of background, I commute most days so spend a reasonable amount of time standing on cold train platforms during the winter months.

I had planned to buy the Aigle Cuckmere this season but then saw this lovely which is much nicer in the flesh.

What to do! Both about the same price so can someone please persuade me as to how great the Cuckmere is. I know it is the practical choice but then the 2nd Day coat is just so beautiful.

Having always gone for the stylish over the warm, I finally got myself a pure goose down coat last year & I wish I'd got one years ago.

Feeling toasty when it's freezing & everyone else is shivering is remarkably fulfilling...
