Can anyone recommend some good shapewear that works

Looking for something to pull me in abit, especially at the sides as ive got big love handles and want to have a "smoother" look!

have tried "cheapy" versions like primark etc but they don't do a lot ime, so can anyone recommend a good brand/actual item? only thing im not keen on is the whole body ones that sit under your bra and the straps go over your shoulders.
help!

I wear a waist clincher if I am wearing a slinky tight dress (which is really only at Christmas parties!) becuase I like my waist to be more defined. Being transsexual I don't have as a defined waist as genetic women so it helps give me that curve. I also sometimes wair bottom lifter tights for a slightly more pert bum!
