Please tell me what tights to wear with this dress

I have it in the purple, but I don't know what tights (colour/pattern) to wear with it. I would be wearing it with black courts or flat black pumps (depending on how bad my bunions are that day ).

I also have the same dress in the grey, and I wear that with grey/black leopard skin pattern opaques.

I am quite a conservative dresser

I'm not personally a fan of patterned tights, so would wear with plain tights and chunky ankle boots (similar to the girl in the picture).

You can always accessorise with a chunky necklace and nice handbag.

Thanks Fozzie but I look silly in ankle boots and tights and a dress. I am very short, and they make me look even shorter as they cut me off at the ankle. I agree that they look good on the model though!

The drress comes up high at the enck and is long sleeved, so it doesn't need those kinds of accessories, which is what i would normally wear.

I quite like patterned tights though. Maybe I am five years behind the times, but hey ho

I love patterned tights, coloured and plain - with this dress I would wear any of these. Wearing lacy, in a contrasting colour, would look fantastic and if you could wear the leopard print in a matching colour that would be great. I would always wear boots though, ankle, long or mid.

Today I'm wearing a charcoal grey (plain) dress and black spotty tights with grey ankle boots. I'm all for clothes not being too serious...

PoshPaula Yes, I would love the leopard print in a purple/black colour combo, but I have only ever bought tights from M&S and they don't do them. How incolsiderate of them! I did hope that maybe Boden would do them, to go with their dress, but no.
