i would like a black dress, with a low cut bust area. I cannot find one anywhere!

Searched online, but most dresses come up too high, i am size 12 but heavier on the bottom half, small waist nice bust. Would love an hourglass enhancing style, that's not short.

On knee, capped sleeves, classic type. not sure how to describe it. sort of retro, but fitted not Aline or big skirt. Hepburn type?

Hw much have you got to spend?

Would something like this work?

piratecat · 25/09/2013 17:46

hiya, that's stunning, but too £££ for me I'm afraid.

I like those with the top on the bust that goes straight across? The sleeves can be vest type, but not strappy, or even just above elbow iyswim. or 3/4.

those bandage type ones are ok, but i don't want anything too how can i say it, 'tarty'. structure would be good. Up to £60 maybe?

just love to have a dress that makes me feel confident enough to find somewhere to wear it!!!

If you like that maybe google for retro rockabilly dresses. I don't remember the names of suitable sites, sorry.

WafflyVersatile · 25/09/2013 17:50

Or sweet heart neck line dress..

piratecat · 25/09/2013 17:51

yes that sort of thing appeals but i would like something quite classic and not too gimicky iyswim. i will google that type thankyou, i wish i knew the correct terms or names for dresses lol

Have you looked at BlueBanana?

I bought a nice dress from them once and was pleased with it.

TessTackle · 25/09/2013 17:58

Have you tried [www.asos.com asos] ? They have a wide range, their brand as well as others and you can put in search terms Smile

IceCreamForCrow · 25/09/2013 17:59

tethersend · 25/09/2013 18:32

ebay

tethersend · 25/09/2013 18:33

That Asos one is lovely, but I bought a pencil skirt in that material and it goes funny after a while; I think the elastic comes out or something, it looks sort of hairy Grin

tethersend · 25/09/2013 18:34

Mind you, I'm pretty sure the ebay one won't last either...

Feenie · 25/09/2013 18:34
