What style boots with boyfriend jeans

As above really. Will be doing the school run whist on ml, and I don't think my converse will work when it's very cold and wet!

I was wondering this and I saw one of the shop assistants in H&M wearing them kind of tucked into longish lace-up ankle boots this kind of style, but with the top of the boots unlaced, if you know what I mean.

Or some celebrities seem to be wearing them rolled up over ankle boots too. See here.

Not sure if you have to be young and trendy to get away with either though!

I don't feel young atm, have 2 week old baby and no sleep!
