Going shopping on Sat. before heading out for dinner and drinks in the city.

Have nothing to wear, but money to spend.

I'm in my early thirties and my friends are slimmer/younger/trendier.

Help me to look my best!

Your description is almost me Grin
I wear a lot of v neck dresses but haven't bought anything recently. I usually shop in Dorothy Perkins, phase eight usually fits well too

Your right goodasitgets, v-necks are definitely more flattering! Unfortunately, neck lines seem to be getting higher and higher. Never shopped in Phase Eight - will have a look. Haven't been shopping in ages. Fed up of looking mumsy!

I have a gorgeous peplum dress from Dorothy Perkins but they don't sell it any more Sad I bought all 3 colours too!
French connection often has good dresses in
Generally I stick to v neck defined waist dresses or 50s type wiggle or full skirted ones
