Recommendations please: good neutral eyeshadow & No 7 skincare

I'm looking to replace Mac Shroom with another neutral-ish/taupe-ish shade. It still works for evenings but it is too sparkly on my 42 year old eyelids for daywear now! Any recommendations?

Also, I have a voucher for No7 Skincare but don't have any knowledge of their products. I could do with a new moisturiser. I have dry-normal skin. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Can't recommend an individual shade, but if you fancy treating yourself the Urban Decay Naked palettes are brilliant.

Don't like No 7, so can't help there but have you tried the Superdrug Vitamin E stuff?

I don't like the No7 shadows, they soon get a hard film on the surface. By the time you've had to keep scraping it off it's used up in no time.
Mac & Bobbi Brown are both good powder ones in neutral colours. I like Mac Bark, a deep brown/taupe with no reddish tone & Bobbi Brown Smoke or Cement.
If you want a cheaper one that's terrific value for money, Boots Natural Collection do some good matt colours. The Walnut is particularly good.

Most of the No7 moisturisers are fine. The basic ones are cheaper then there are the age targeted ones. They're on 3for2 at present & you get a £5 off voucher.

Sorry, link...these ones don't go hard like the N7 ones either.

Do you want the moisturiser to be anti-aging? If yes then you want the Protect & Perfect range (Intense for 35-45, Lift and Luminate for 45-60, Restore and renew 60+) If not there is the Beautiful Skin range, you would want the pink range, normal/dry
For the eyeshadow in the No7 range try Mink or Wheatsheaf xx

I use the natual collection one on milk chocolate. I did see a rip off of the Urban Decay palette in Boots today but I had toddlers with me so i didn't have time to stop. It was a new thing on one of the displays.

Thanks for replies. Will look at the eyeshadow recommendations - I really like Mac for its staying power. Is Urban Decay as good?

I wanted to try the No7 skincare as I have a Boots voucher & I always forget to use them! Will try the Protect & Perfect. Thank you!

Agree about No7 eyeshadows and the hard film you have to scratch off. I like Natural Collection Heather and just buy in the 3 for £5 offer they always have

I've just bought Bobbi Brown's 'cement' cream shadow. It's matte, completely neutral and very nice for everyday. Sounds like the sort of thing you're looking for!
