Would you get it cut like this

(Fingers crossed the link works)

Yep! My hair is like that (I fulfil your criteria apart from the thick bit)

BaronessBomburst · 23/09/2013 17:32

Yes. I would love hair like that but mine is too fine and just looks limp.

casacastille · 23/09/2013 17:33

I'd be careful to avoid those that are a bit too 1990s Rachel (oh and look, she's in there!).

Depends on your face shape and hair type. Personally, too many layers make mine a frizz fest.

WildThongsHeartString · 23/09/2013 17:43

Thanks for the quick replies! Dotty do you find it quite easy to keep? I would like to be able to wash and blow dry every couple of days, no straightening, would this work?

If your hair is thick, it might be a bit of a pain in the arse to keep it looking tidy without straightening it. I personally wouldn't.

WildThongsHeartString · 23/09/2013 17:46

Oh, and other suggestions more than welcome!

Mine is meant to be like one of those....but it's not. Without the weight of the top layer, it flicks every which way but lose. I bloody hate faffing with it every morning. Mines very thick too. Am waiting until I grow all the annoying flicky layers out. Ime those hairstyles are very high mantenance

Orangeanddemons · 23/09/2013 17:48

Loose even

Orangeanddemons · 23/09/2013 17:49

Argh...maintenance

icecubed · 23/09/2013 17:49

I have lots and lots of fine hair and have it cut similarly to this - with a sort of 1/2 fringe

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/09/2013 17:50

Mine is like this but just to my shoulders. .needs no maintenance at all..but it is thick with natural wave

SirChenjin · 23/09/2013 17:51

That link shows lots of different styles - which one are you thinking of?

Mumelie · 23/09/2013 18:04

Mine is very similar but wavy/curly - its a good style to be able to straighten or leave curly.
