and it is fab!

I ordered the Tilde in Navy from outdoorworlddirect.co.uk and couldn't recommend them enough for customer service, honest sales practices and help before making my purchase. Its a family run business from what I understand so great one to one care.

Anyway on to my coat, and after checking info on here I ordered a size down. I am 5.8" with a long torso and arms and it fits perfectly! The coat is as baggy as Didriksons coats are described as being so I would say it was more a size 13 than 12, but don't get me wrong, it is not like wearing a sack and is very nicely styled. I wear a size 14 as I have an hourglass shape with size 14 hips and a quite large bust and it fits perfectly around my hips and bust with a little layering space. You can cinch the waist in as much as you like and this brings the waist in for me to a custom fit, which is good for my body type. I am planning to get back down to an actual size 12 when I finish BF soon but as my hips and bust are quite broad I will just cinch the waist in a little further and I am pretty certain the coat will still fit me fine, just with a little bit of extra layering space.

It is very warm! I live in London but visit family in the Midlands frequently where I grew up, and I don't think the weather is going to bother me in either setting, and I really feel the cold. I doubt I will have to layer up at all in London and may just throw on a light weight jumper underneath when I venture northwards. It looks as weatherproof as is described though I haven't tried it out yet, and as I walk everywhere and use public transport with a toddler in tow, it is nice to have a very practical yet stylish bum covering and weatherproof coat. The hood is amazing and I doubt any rain is going to be getting on my face and I am actually looking forward to the winter weather for once.

So in short, its a quite stylish, durable, bum covering, weatherproof coat and I would recommend outdoorworlddirect.co.uk (they are also the best for prices).
