Hi Ladies,

Ok, best friend is getting married and its her Hen Do next week.

We are all wearing buelesque outfits, and doing several themed activities!

rightho, so far i´ve sorted the following outfit.

Black and Purple over bust corset
flimsy skirt longer at the back and shorter at the front.
black or purple high heals not sure which yet.

BUT i need stockings! I really don´t want fishnets (think I would look totally stupid in them), what I am looking for I THINK is cuban heal with a back seams.

I´m tall and I think I have fairly shapely legs. can anyone tell me where to look for stockings, don´t want to break the bank and they need to be proper stockings not hold ups!

Oh and can someone tell me how to put them on so the seams are straight??? I tried youtube I would suggest that you don´t! Blush

Also what could I do with my hair????
What could I wear to cover my arms???? Not my best feature in my mind.

Do I need any accessories? if so what would work????

I would stay at home Grin
What a palaver.

Try a dept store for stockings.
Arms...long satin evening gloves...ditto dept store or ebay.

Please post a photo of the end result Smile

I'd be washing my hair that night, sounds hellish!

googlecanthelp · 23/09/2013 11:44

Sofa I kind of agree

But she is a very dear friend!

Personally my idea of a hendo is a few DVDs something to drink nibbly bits and good friends

But this is what she wants and I'm sure it will be fun, and at least it's not school girls for a change

Gloves I hadn't thought of that!

Oh dear, I'm with the other two on this, but if you are going through with it then my advice would be to spend a load of money on good quality materials and pretty, flattering colours. Good luck OP!

What Katy Did have seamed stockings, very nice ones. To put them on you first need to moisturise your legs (for grip on the stockings). Gather them from the top down, getting the seam as straight as possible then gently pull each on whilst guiding the seam even straighter. Once they're on I stand in front of a full length mirror with my legs apart, bend right over from the waist and gently straighten the seems further whilst peering out from between my own legs Hmm.

IME you haven't much hope of the seams staying straight with one of those daft bedroomy four suspender belts, a 6 or 8 suspender job is much more comfortable and will keep all in place.

Hey Mrslettuce.

Thanks for that! I have this Maitress 6 start suspender belt from WKD. Would that be ok??????

Which stockings are you using from WKD? I think these would be ok seamed stockings I´d like to try the fully fashioned ones but I believe they don´t have much "give" so if my legs are not the right shape they wouldn´t fit properly????

ARH..... Im sure it will be fun when we get there!

Suspender belt looks fab, will definitely be up to the job!

I have their 'retro seamed stockings' and 'seamed stockings', both are very nice but they don's seem to have my favourites (plain nude with black seam) ATM. Not tried the fully fashioned one yet I'm afraid.

Thanks MrsLettuce I will have a think!
