Do we have a thread for smart casual wear ideas/suggestions/capsule wardrobe plans?

I've decided to have a proper clear out of my wardrobe not just the usual shuffle around and really need to replace a lot for winter so I was wondering if anyone fancied a thread for a smart casual wardrobe? Links to clothing, ask questions, give suggestions?

If there's something like this already please point me there!
If not I'm happy to waffle away on my own! Grin

Great idea - my office is smart casual and I never feel I get it right. I'm either too corporate or too scruffy. Sadly, this means I have nothing to offer the thread.

Uniqlo have some lovely merino v necked jumpers in lots of colours, at £30, they also have some skinny jeans. I haven't bought anything from there before, but when I get some pennies I am going to give them a whirl.

Has anybody got any recommendations for nice jumper dresses?

Ooh yes I'm after jumper dresses too please and nice cami tops. Tried a lovely one on in tesco but was far too clingy. Would like a fat tummy skimming one!

bloody H&M- could do with some of those jumpers, but their sizes are 10-12 and 14-16, and ...........i'm 12-14 ??

H&m sizes can be ridiculous, I've got an xs jumper and size 12 jeggings but can't fit in their size 16 trousers?! Confused

The vogue thread isn't all high end stuff. I'm a high st girl. The main thing is that we get inspiration from each other, swap ideas etc. come and join us Smile

I really like that Dorothy Perkins one, just a pity there doesn't seem to be any wool in it.
