Beach wedding in Oz, urgent shoe help!!

I'm going to a wedding in Australia. The bride is not having bridesmaids so instead is asking her close family/friends to wear black. It's not my best colour but luckily I do have a lovely black dress www.allsaints.com/women/dresses/allsaints-marilyn-dress/

My problem is shoes! It's a beach wedding with a fairly casual reception. I've got lots of shoes but none of them work with the dress in that setting! I have dressy heels/wedges and sandals.

Does anyone have any ideas? The dress looks better with a bit of a heel otherwise I'd go for nice beaded sandals.

I think you should go with a nice pair of beaded sandals or thongs for the beach and maybe change into something a bit dressier for the reception.

You could be very hot in a fully lined polyester fitted dress depending on the location and time of day the wedding is being held. Don't forget your sun cream!
