It's truly fab. I love the idea of red lipstick but never felt it suited me - I always felt like the lipstick was wearing me, rather than the other way around! Then I bought this yesterday and I am so impressed. It's a definite red but it's not too heavily pigmented, so the result is really soft and flattering rather than shocking. I have the driest lips in the world but even I don't need a lip balm underneath. It doesn't last terribly long on the lips but reapplying is a joy so I don't care, and it fades evenly. No need for faffing around with lip pencil or any of that.

It's £9 full price which I think is a bargain.

Ooh thank you! I tried a rimmel red but my edges were all wobbly and it wore of so i had a big line around the outsides. I looked hideous by 10am!

Revlon lip butter in candy apple is a really wearable red too

The Revlon one is a great intro to wearing red. You can put on just a thin layer and it looks quite sheer, or build up the colour to be more intense.
I love red lipstick and have lots. I wear different ones depending on my skin tone and time of year, and the intensity of colur I want. I'm currently loving a Kate Moss Rimmel one that I grabbed quickly in Boots - a v pinky/orangey red shade. (111)
