Jojoba oil - how long to see results with oily skin?

Have just bought some jojoba oil to use with my incredibly oily skin. I'm not sure whether its best to use instead of moisturiser or in some other way? I used a couple of drops this morning as a moisturiser replacement and my face is still an oil slick. Is it something that takes a while to help? I had to give up on rosehip oil as it broke me out but I'm running out of options to try with my greasy face. The only thing that has helped is roaccutane while I am actually taking it. Have had 3 courses but my face is as oily as ever within a month of stopping. Please give me hope that jojoba may be the answer!

Did you read the Mail on Sunday article about it? It says to cleanse as normal then, while skin is freshly damp, put a drop of jojoba in each palm, and gently massage into your face from your forehead down to your neck.

I would imagine you need to give it at least two weeks to a month to feel any difference and to calm your own oil production.

Thanks. I've used it for a couple of days and have a breakout so now I'm chickening out of continuing with it. Have just changed to La Roche Posay Effaclar skin care so think I will wait a couple of weeks to see if I can get an improvement in the oil with just the new skin care, then might try the jojoba again.
