need to buy boots/shoes to wear with skinny jeans

I bought some nice skinnies from gap. what boots/shoes can I wear with them that are comfy and stylish to walk in everyday? I have knee high boots already but they are a bit warm at the moment.

Watching with interest as I have the same dilemma.

I wore an old pair of Russell and Bromley ankle boots with mine today, a bit like this - but I got too hot so I think I need something else.

I'm thinking I need brogues, maybe a bit like these but then I got worrying about what socks I'd wear with them. Also which colour to choose. They need to go with blue and black skinnies for me. Would they work for you?

The other option is to go with ballerina or slipper flats I guess. But they don't give much support and I find that my feet get too cold without socks!

I bought these for dd1 - she doesn't have school uniform & I thought they'd be good with skirts/shorts as well as skinnies. She has been rolling the legs of her skinnies to emphasise the cut-outs.

but can't afford isabel marant so have the office versions!

I either wear converse, ballet pumps, cowboy boots or biker boots with mine.
