How long before i redye my hair?

I dyed my hair and it went orange - well to be fair, it was auburn - it not hideous so i certainly don't need to rush to the hair dressers for emergency dye but would like to go back to my normal blonde. To be fair, my hair does tend towards brassy . I usually dye it dark blonde.

So how long? And any recommendations for dark blonde dyes that don't go brassy?

TBH if it's orange I wouldn't try dying it myself, I'd go to a hairdresser and let them figure it out!!!

I just had mine coloured for the second time in a month as I didn't like my highlights. It has survived ok..feels soft and nice, but I did leave it to professsionals as I had messed it up doing it myself!
