Zara

Fat Face

I've given up looking for something both warm and waterproof that's not £££, so am going for warmth and will get some sort of pack a mac for rain...

I prefer the Zara one.

HappyGirlNow · 21/09/2013 12:00

Zara..

buttercrumble · 21/09/2013 12:03

Zara

dexter73 · 21/09/2013 12:10

Zara for me too.

catgirl1976 · 21/09/2013 12:15

Zara

JohnSnowsTie · 21/09/2013 12:17

Is Zara stuff good quality? Not really bought it.

The Zara is a nicer style but the fat face one is down filled so will be much warmer.

That may not be a helpful post! Sorry!

tethersend · 21/09/2013 12:20

I can't tell the difference.

frenchfancy · 21/09/2013 12:21

I'd buy the fat face one if you are looking for warmth.

Bunbaker · 21/09/2013 12:22

I like both. If one is more waterproof than the other I would go for that one.

frankietwospots · 21/09/2013 12:22

I like the Zara one but size up as their coats tend to be on the snug side. I'm an 8 and often need a medium in Zara.

Jbck · 21/09/2013 12:29

Fat Face one.

lucidlady · 21/09/2013 13:18

Fat face will be much warmer

ShreddedHoops · 21/09/2013 13:22

They're both nice - I prefer the Fat Face one as the belt and slight sheen make the Zara one a bit Eurotrash. The Fat Face one looks better quality and comfier too. But the Zara one is a bit smarter / rich wife compared to the Fat Face's practical / youthful vibes so depends what look you're after.

GobblersKnob · 21/09/2013 13:26

Fat Face, down will be much warmer, and will be less likely to fall apart than Zara.

Agree Fat Face looks younger and practical.

Kemmo · 21/09/2013 14:00

Zara

mummybare · 21/09/2013 14:02

Love the Fat Face one.

LittleTulip · 21/09/2013 14:05

They're both about the same aesthetically however I'm sure the fat face one will be better quality and will last you longer

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 21/09/2013 14:11

Zara one is more stylish with the belt - but in general I think these puffa coats add about a stone to all wearers

ThePorpoiseOfStupidity · 21/09/2013 14:43

I prefer the Zara one.

SandyChick · 21/09/2013 15:06

I've tried the Zara one on and didn't like the fur trim. It was really annoying. Pretty sure it's not removable.

I bought a coat similar to both of those from Landsend about 3 years ago plus it was waterproof. Think it was called the chevron coat? Great coat got 3 winters out of it before it started to let water in around stitching. Think I paid around £110 as I had a discount code.

Hanginggardenofboobylon · 21/09/2013 15:10

Esprit do very similar coats and I found mine brilliant last winter.

Ilovewaleswhenitrains · 21/09/2013 15:14

Fat face one looks warmer and more practical, plus you have a choice of colour..

missbopeep · 21/09/2013 15:17

I think some of you have missed the fabric content etc of the Zara one- it's 70% down whereas the FF one is 50% down 50% feather.

Uniqlo have similar for £79 with a higher down content- think it's 90%.

GobblersKnob · 21/09/2013 15:19

I did indeed, just got as far as 'lining' oops, sorry.
