Best eyeshadow shade for dark eyes

It will be my birthday soon and my friend always buys a lovely gift from MAC. She has asked what shade I would like. I have very dark eyes and olive skin so normally I have a dark brown shade. What other shade would work well for everyday wear?

I'm similar and when I used to wear eyeshadow I loved mossy greens and deep purples. Dark blue also worked IIRC.
