what shoes with this dress

Hi

I bought this dress to wear to DS's first birthday party, but I have no idea what shoes to wear.

I wanted to wear a dress because I rarely have a chance, plus I've lost weight and the dress is really flattering.

I'm rubbish at wearing heels and don't want to break an ankle tottering after ds. But I'd wear heels if they're comfy and "sensible"

Can anyone suggest any shoes to go?

I like the dress. how about some nude or black courts? They are probably everywhere and you ca l then find a comfy pair. I usually try m&s as the heels arent too high.

Great dress! With it I would wear kitten heels (patent or glossy), shiny flats, wedges, or even a brown ankle boot for a bit of height but with the support and good for chasing after toddlers!

Jones, Dune, are good for ankle boots.

Wedges- LK Bennet.
