What to do with all these clothes that don't fit me? Keep in hope or get rid?

Hi
Since having my second baby nearly 18 months ago I've not been able to fit into most of my old clothes, mostly size 10. I actually have very few things to wear as money is tight so I can't afford to buy much new.

I've just found all my old winter clothes in a suitcase. There is nothing in there that fits me.
Should I get rid of it all or keep it in the hope I will get back into it? It's so frustrating having lots of clothes but none I can wear!

After 18m,unless you are still breastfeeding or are nust about to join a new gym and have time to go,II would accept that this is your post baby shape and get rid of them.
I've had 3 and some very tailored dresses & skirts have just had to go elsewhere..

Ferris of anything you don't absolutely love or which has special memories for you.

You're just tormenting yourself by keeping them. They only remind you of someone you used to be - that's not a positive thing.

I know you said money is tight, but its time to start working towards a new wardrobe which suits your new shape.

It depends on how much you have to lose before they will fit you again. If it isn't much then I would keep them and use that as an incentive to lose the weight, but if it is a lot then get rid as they will only depress you.

If you have any decent stuff take it to a dress agency where they will sell it on for you and take a cut. They sell at higher prices than you would get on ebay even after their cut.

If its just high street clothing then ebay it and anything that wouldn't sell, take to the charity shop.

Another idea is to have a clothing swap evening with your friends. Get everyone to bring their unwanted clothes and have a giggle trying stuff on and seeing if any of each others clothes fit each other.
